The link http://www.upworthy.com/talk-show-host-makes-all-other-hosts-look-absurd-during-devastating-monologue. was a Scottish presenter on a TV show telling his story of his addiction to alcohol. He explained that he felt like committing suicide on Christmas day, but a bar man where he was staying told him to come and have a Christmas drink with him. This made him forget that he was going to commit suicide. He then goes on and explains that it inst the rehab that helped him through heis alcoholism, it was the people around him.
In sport there is an addiction to drugs to make the athletes preform better. This is illegal in most sports. The healing or repair for most sport athletes is to go to rehab and get elp. This doesnt always work though. Ben Cousins went to rehab for his addictions, but you see on the news now that he still has a problem. Rehab can't always fix the problem. As the scottish presenter said it is the people around you that get you through your battles. Rehab is one method of healing but surrounding yourself with people that are encouraging yuot to get through is a beytter eay of over comming addictions.
